Adult Learn to Curl

Our 2025 Learn to Curl program will begin October 28th at 7:00 p.m.

Learn to curl in a fun and encouraging environment!

  • This innovative program is aimed at adults who are new to the sport of curling and have a desire to master the basic skills of the game.
  • It’s very affordable at $163! The program is led by well-trained instructors who have been certified by Curl Canada.
  • Learn to curl in a structured, relaxed environment.
  • All instruction by certified instructors, or seasoned veterans.
  • Program runs for 8 weeks.
  • A Bonspiel to close out the instructional session will be offered on the final day.
  • Equipment is available at the club for your use – no initial investment is required!
  • Participants in the program may also join a regular league and/or may spare in a regular league at a fee of $5 per game
  • Learn to Curl will prepare you to play with more experienced curlers.

Curling 101/”Rookie” League

This is a league designed for curlers with no experience up to those with 3 years of experience. All curlers matching this criteria will be invited to sign up to the newly formed Curling 101 League. It is a coached league, providing in-depth instruction in the basics of the sport with a goal of allowing participants to join other leagues within the club and feel comfortable doing so.

  • Curling etiquette, roles, delivery, sweeping and strategy
  • Both off-ice and on-ice instruction and some coached game-play
  • Designed for adults and mature teens. Youth should check out our junior programs or book a private lesson.
  • No experience necessary, and the instruction presented in this league is appropriate for curlers with up to 3 years of experience.
  • This league will commence following completion of the 8 week Learn to Curl Course and will be held Tuesday nights starting at 7:00 pm.

RECOMMENDATIONS

Completion of Curling 101 is recommended for new curlers (but not required) before curling in a regular member league. This league will get you to the comfort level to enter a league and understand the game fully.
